British Grown Flowers
September 25 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Steven and Paula Routledge will speak about British-grown flowers at our next meeting which heralds our Autumn series of talks.
The couple run Floral Media at Caunton near Newark, a 15-acre site featuring a host of plots – sweeping borders, a vegetable garden, cutting areas, a rockery, wildflower meadows, a flower farm and sculptures.
They have a wealth of experience in the horticultural and florist sector.
Paula Routledge, who has been honoured with a BEM for charitable services, is a talented florist and horticulturist and a Chelsea Flower Show medal winner.
She is a National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies demonstrator and enjoys creating floral designs for weddings, corporate events and flower clubs across the country.
Paula appears on BBC Radio Nottingham on her weekly gardening slot, sharing top gardening tips and jobs for the week.
Floral Media offers workshops in horticulture and floristry and group tours by appointment.
