Plant Sale Success

The association’s plant sale at St Peter’s Rooms on May 29 was a great success. The tables were bursting with vegetable, bedding and perennial plants.

It made for a busy morning as the regular coffee morning crowd arrived for tea, coffee, biscuits and toast. Many of them bought plants from us with tomatoes and geraniums popular buys. 

A steady stream of visitors came in for planting tips and to buy from the dozens of plants for sale at competitive prices. 

A big thank you to all our generous members who provided a wonderful array of veg, flowers and shrubs for sale. There was a tremendous variety on offer and the event has become a popular one for villagers.
